Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Zainapp("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Zainapp mobile application, website at https://www.zainapp.co.uk, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Zainapp provides digital business card tools that let you create a card, share it via QR code or NFC, and save contacts from cards shared with you. Questions about privacy can be sent to support@zainapp.co.uk.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect:

  • Account information: email address used to sign in (including one-time passcodes), and basic profile data such as your name.
  • Card content: information you choose to put on your digital business card (for example name, job title, company, work email, phone, location, photo, banner image, and social or website links).
  • Saved contacts: copies of public card details you save inside the app from shared links.
  • Usage and device data: limited technical data such as app version, device type, and diagnostic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
  • Purchase information: if you buy Zainapp Pro, Apple or Google processes payment; we receive confirmation of purchase status, not your full card number.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Create and authenticate your account
  • Store, display, and sync your digital business card
  • Enable sharing via QR codes, links, NFC, and public card pages
  • Let you save and manage contacts gathered through the Service
  • Provide customer support and improve the Service
  • Comply with law and protect against abuse or fraud

4. What others can see

When you share your card, the fields you include on an active card may be visible to anyone with your link or QR code, including on our public card page at https://www.zainapp.co.uk/c/…. Only share information you are comfortable making public. You can deactivate or delete your card from the app.

5. Service providers

We use trusted third parties to run the Service, including hosting and database providers (such as Supabase), authentication and email delivery, and app distribution (Apple App Store, Google Play). They process data on our instructions and under appropriate agreements.

6. Retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete Account), we delete your account and associated card and saved contact data, subject to short backup retention where required by law or for security.

7. Your choices and rights

You may:

  • Update your card and profile information in the app
  • Delete your card or saved contacts from the app
  • Delete your entire account in the app under Settings → Delete Account
  • Contact us at support@zainapp.co.uk to ask questions or request access, correction, or deletion where applicable law provides those rights

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, and secure authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided data to us.

10. International users

Your information may be processed in countries where we or our providers operate. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to those locations.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
