Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Zainapp mobile application, website at https://www.zainapp.co.uk, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

2. Your account

  • You may sign in with a one-time code sent to your email or other sign-in methods we offer.
  • You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure and for activity under your account.
  • You may delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and removes your card and associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Your content and card

You own the content you submit (text, images, links, and contact details). You grant us a limited license to host, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service (for example to show your public card page and generate QR or NFC links).

You agree that your content:

  • Is accurate to the best of your knowledge
  • Does not infringe others' rights or violate law (including spam, harassment, or misleading claims)
  • Does not contain malware or material that could harm the Service or other users

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to the Service or others.

4. Sharing and public links

When you share your card, anyone with the link or QR code may view the information you published on an active card. You control what you include. Deactivating or deleting your card limits further public access, though copies others saved may remain on their devices.

5. Zainapp Pro and purchases

Optional paid features (such as premium templates) are sold as one-time in-app purchases through Apple App Store or Google Play where available. Prices, taxes, and refunds are handled under those stores' policies. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to Pro features across all devices or future versions.

6. Acceptable use

You will not:

  • Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
  • Attempt to access others' accounts or our systems without permission
  • Scrape, overload, or reverse engineer the Service except where law allows
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Create duplicate accounts to evade restrictions described in the app

7. Third-party services

The Service may link to third-party sites or services (for example social profiles you add to your card). We are not responsible for third-party content or practices. Your use of app stores and payment providers is subject to their terms.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT SHARED CARDS WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

11. Changes and termination

We may modify the Service or these Terms. We will post updated Terms on this page. Material changes may be communicated in the app or by email where appropriate. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.

We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access for violation of these Terms or for operational reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator of Zainapp is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country apply. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless local law requires otherwise.
